Shane Gallagher es un psiquiatra certificado como profesional de enfermería que ejerce en la ciudad de Nueva York. Tiene experiencia trabajando en dos grandes centros médicos académicos en Manhattan y es profesor en la Facultad de Enfermería Rory Meyers de la NYU. Tiene experiencia en el tratamiento de la depresión, la ansiedad, el trastorno bipolar, el trastorno de estrés postraumático (TEPT), el TDAH y los trastornos psicóticos. Philosophy

My goal in working with patients is to understand each patient’s unique story and development to create an individualized treatment plan. This plan may include psychotherapy, medication management or both. I believe that mental health treatment should be pragmatic, evidence-based and collaborative

Treatment approach

My style in working with patients is eclectic and largely draws from principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). I prioritize the goals of patients so that the care they receive is holistic and draws upon their existing strengths.

Credentials

I am board-certified as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and licensed to practice in New York State.
