Christopher Aspromonte, DO, is a psychiatrist who provides comprehensive, individualized care through a combination of medication management and psychotherapy. He works with adults experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and challenges related to stress, relationships, and life transitions. Dr. Aspromonte takes a thoughtful and deeply personalized approach to treatment. He recognizes that each person’s experience of suffering is unique, often shaped by life experiences, relationships, and patterns that develop over time. His goal is not only to help reduce symptoms, but to help patients better understand themselves and the factors contributing to what they are going through. His work is grounded in training in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, with additional experience in evidence-based approaches such as cognitive and behavioral therapies. He integrates these perspectives with careful medication management and attention to lifestyle factors, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs. For some, treatment may be more focused and solution-oriented; for others, it may involve deeper exploration aimed at creating lasting, meaningful change. Dr. Aspromonte places strong emphasis on building a trusting, collaborative relationship. He is known for a warm, engaged, and nonjudgmental style, creating a space where patients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. He has a particular interest in working with individuals who may appear high-functioning on the outside but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unfulfilled internally, helping them gain clarity, reconnect with themselves, and move toward a more meaningful and authentic sense of well-being. Dr. Aspromonte earned his Bachelor of Arts from Fairfield University and his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his psychiatry residency at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital and is currently continuing advanced training in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy through the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia.
