Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Empire State Psychiatry Medical Director
Chief of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
I’ve always believed that a person is more than a diagnosis. In my practice, I begin with the understanding that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to offer clinical expertise, thoughtful advocacy, and steady support as we navigate challenges together. My clinical foundation was built at New York University, but my perspective on mental health was truly shaped on the front lines of care. During my years as a behavioral health nurse at Zucker Hillside Hospital, I worked closely with adolescents and perinatal patients facing some of life’s most complex and vulnerable moments. That experience reinforced a core belief: while medication can be a powerful tool, meaningful healing happens when people feel seen, safe, and actively engaged in their own treatment. Our work together will focus on building confidence, fostering self-compassion, and developing practical skills that support you well beyond the clinical setting. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. My work is grounded in evidence-based medicine and guided by your lived experience. I take a holistic, collaborative approach to care—one that honors your autonomy and emphasizes real-world strategies that help you feel capable, informed, and empowered. I am deeply committed to providing an affirming, nonjudgmental space for youth, adults, gender-diverse individuals, and families navigating significant life transitions. Whether we are addressing trauma, managing symptoms, or adjusting to a new stage of life, my goal is to build a genuine therapeutic relationship that supports sustainable, long-term growth and change.
