Adolescent & Adult Provider
Empire State Psychiatry Medical Director
Chief of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, evidence-based, trauma-informed care for adults seeking support with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and other mental health challenges. As a bilingual provider, I offer psychiatric services in both English and Spanish, providing culturally responsive care that helps patients feel seen, understood, and supported. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management using a person-centered approach that recognizes the importance of treating the whole person — not only symptoms or diagnoses. My approach is grounded in collaboration, emotional safety, and genuine human connection. I believe meaningful mental health care begins with feeling safe, heard, and respected. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially for individuals carrying experiences that have left them feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, unsafe, or unheard. I strive to foster a supportive and nonjudgmental space where patients feel comfortable showing up as they are — genuinely heard, accepted, and free from shame or fear of judgment. My goal is for patients to feel supported and know they do not have to navigate their mental health challenges alone. My approach to care is collaborative and centered on shared decision-making. I believe patients are the experts on their own lived experiences, and I work closely with each individual to develop treatment plans that align with their personal goals, values, and needs. I aim to ensure patients feel informed, empowered, and actively involved in their care. I chose psychiatry because I believe every person deserves care that honors their humanity, experiences, and inherent worth.
