Integrated Psychiatric Care: Medication Management & Psychotherapy

We believe the most effective psychiatric treatment addresses the whole person. That's why our practice offers psychotherapy as an integrated component of our medication management services — combining evidence-based talk therapy with thoughtful pharmacological care in a unified treatment approach.

A Combined Approach to Mental Health

Research consistently shows that for many psychiatric conditions, the combination of psychotherapy and medication produces better outcomes than either treatment alone. Our providers are trained to deliver both, allowing us to coordinate your care seamlessly within each visit rather than splitting it across multiple providers.

During your appointments, your clinician may incorporate therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral strategies, motivational interviewing, supportive psychotherapy, or psychoeducation — all tailored to your individual needs and integrated directly into your ongoing psychiatric care.

What to Know Before You Schedule

Our practice specializes in combined medication management and psychotherapy. We do not offer stand-alone psychotherapy services. All therapy provided in our practice is delivered in conjunction with active psychiatric medication management.

If you are seeking psychotherapy without a medication component, we'd encourage you to reach out to a licensed therapist or counselor in your area. If you're unsure whether combined treatment is right for you, we're happy to discuss your needs during an initial consultation.

Why Integrated Care Works

When the same provider manages both your medication and your therapy, the benefits compound. Your clinician gains a richer understanding of how you're responding to treatment, can adjust medications with the full context of your therapeutic progress, and can tailor therapeutic interventions to support medication adherence and long-term wellness.
