Psychiatrist

Empire State Psychiatry Medical Director
Chief of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

I am a board-eligible psychiatrist with training in both medication management and psychotherapy. I earned my undergraduate degree from Emory University and completed my medical education at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine–Harlem Campus. I went on to complete my psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Morningside–West, where I served as Senior Outpatient Resident during my final year. My clinical experience in New York City has provided me with exposure to a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and psychotic spectrum disorders. I have also worked in specialized settings such as an intensive personality disorders clinic and an intensive outpatient program. I utilize an integrative, patient-centered approach, incorporating evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), supportive therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I prioritize creating a collaborative and supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable throughout their care.
