Megan Guerrera, NP is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides comprehensive psychiatric care across the lifespan. Megan earned her master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Binghamton University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA, and completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Le Moyne College. Her diverse clinical experience spans community mental health, inpatient psychiatry, addiction medicine, and Article 16 OPWDD outpatient services, giving her a strong foundation in complex comorbidities and co-occurring disorders. She has provided psychiatric care across the lifespan, including specialized treatment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Megan has a special clinical interest in eating disorders and is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based, person-centered care that supports both medical and psychological recovery. Megan is also passionate about reducing stigma within healthcare and emergency services. She encourages fellow professionals including healthcare workers, first responders, and law enforcement to seek mental health support without hesitation, believing that caring for those who care for others is essential to community wellness. Across all settings, Megan is known for her empathy, thoroughness, and ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for individuals and families. She is committed to developing individualized treatment plans that integrate psychopharmacology, supportive interventions, and patient education to empower long-term stability and wellness. She believes strongly in collaborative care, advocacy, and reducing barriers to mental health treatment. Megan is passionate about supporting patients through life transitions, navigating complex diagnoses, and helping individuals build healthier, more fulfilling lives. Megan is happy to work with children, adolescents, and adults.
